The Xiaomi Mi Max 2, announced today at an event in Beijing, will
be available in India. The new model’s biggest highlights are the massive
screen and big battery, as well as improvements in one-hand use and an updated
design. Xiaomi Mi Max 2 also sports stereo speakers which the company says is a
big improvement over the single speaker on the original Mi Max.
The new Xiaomi Mi Max 2 will be
available in two storage models: 64GB priced at Rs. 16,000 and 128GB storage
priced at Rs. 19,000. It has a massive 6.44-inch full-HD 1080×1920 pixels
display which is yet again the biggest highlight of the smartphone and the Mi
Max 2 also packs a large 5300mAh battery. The company claims that the device
can charge to 68 percent in an hour and that its 100% capacity will give a user
up to 18 hours of watching the video, or 57 hours of call time.
Mi Max 2 has 12 MP primary camera with PDAF support and dual-LED
flash for clear pictures in night mode. Xiaomi is using latest Sony IMX386
sensor with 1.25-micron pixels. It has 5 MP front cameras on board. It is
available in three colors Gray, Silver, or Gold.
